The Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada (BEICC) is a unified voice to represent Canada’s strong and vibrant business events industry.
Business events are a powerful economic driver, generating $71 billion for the Canadian economy. These events – which include conferences, tradeshows, congresses, conventions, incentive programs and meetings – are vital to the face-to-face interactions that drive business success. Business events also impact virtually every industry, from tourism to financial services, while strengthening our tax base.
In 2008, business events in Canada brought almost 70 million people together to build relationships, develop leads, advance their skills and benefit from shared passion for their work. Success in business requires face-to-face meetings.
By speaking as one unified voice, the Coalition represents the needs of the business events industry across Canada and emphasizes the business and economic significance of our sector. We are the “go-to” source for consultation and presenting issues with government, industry, business leaders and the general public and work with all of our partners to build a strong and prosperous economy.
